NAPLAN Testing occurs in Week 3 of Term 2 from May 12- 14.

If you look at the mathematics questions you will notice that they do not test how well your child can "do sums" but how well they apply their mathematical reasoning.
Students who have difficulties with these tests are often those who make impulsive guesses rather than carefully considering their answers.
You may like to spend sometime with your child seeing how they approach problems and discuss what they found easy or difficult.
